Cosmetic Acupuncture

A natural approach to facial rejuvenation and skin health

Cosmetic Acupuncture (also called Facial Acupuncture) is a natural, non-surgical treatment that uses very fine, sterile acupuncture needles on the face and body to support skin health and overall wellbeing. It is based on traditional acupuncture principles and focuses on improving circulation, muscle tone, and balance rather than altering facial structure.

How does it works?

Tiny needles are gently placed at specific points on the face and body. These points help to:

  • Encourage healthy blood flow to the skin

  • Support collagen and elastin production

  • Relax tight facial muscles and tone weaker ones

  • Improve overall balance within the body, which can reflect positively on the skin

Because the treatment also addresses the body as a whole, many clients report feeling deeply relaxed after a session.

Benefits of cosmetic acupuncture

Results vary from person to person, but potential benefits may include:

  • Improved skin tone and texture

  • A brighter, more refreshed appearance

  • Reduction in the appearance of fine lines over time

  • Support for natural collagen production

  • Reduced facial tension and jaw tightness

  • Improved circulation and lymphatic flow

  • A sense of relaxation and wellbeing

Cosmetic Acupuncture works best as a series of treatments

What to expect during a session

It all starts with a consultation to understand your skin concerns and overall health. Gentle insertion of very fine needles (most clients feel little to no discomfort). You’ll rest comfortably for the duration of the treatment.Sessions usually last between 45–60 minutes

The treatment will be provided in my treatment room in East Ham, London, UK.

Side effects

Facial acupuncture is generally well tolerated. Possible, mild side effects may include:

  • Temporary redness at needle sites

  • Minor bruising (rare and usually fades quickly)

  • Mild tenderness or warmth in the treated area
